Aurora Dawn Foundation's first communal living facility is called "Marty's Place". Founded in 1989 in a cramped apartment near Castro Street, Marty's Place is now located in a house in San Francisco's Mission District. The house is a spacious, light and comfortable Victorian. With the recent completion of our basement construction project we can now accommodate eight residents. We've added two bedrooms, a laundry room, a handicapped accessible bathroom and a small office. This project was, of course, costly and we continue to appreciate any and all financial assistance.

With the help of our generous friends we are planning even more expansion of our services. Homeless women suffering from AIDS/HIV need a nurturing and safe place to live. We are seeking to establish such a residence in a country setting near the Bay Area. Should you be able to assist us with either a donation or information about reasonably priced properly, please let us know.
